Systems Engineer – Satellite Components (m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Developing satellite components and subsystems with a focus on attitude control as well as structures and mechanisms
  • Coordinating systems-level development and subsystem activities
  • Leading interdisciplinary project teams and monitoring project progress
  • Developing methods for verifying product properties
  • Responsible execution/oversight of System Level Design Verification
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation (specifications, design descriptions, ICDs, test procedures and reports)
  • Supporting the development and acquisition of new projects

Your profile

  • Degree in Physics or Engineering, e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Professional experience, ideally in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of relevant requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) as well as project planning and execution tools (e.g., Projectron, MS Project)
  • Knowledge of configuration management
  • Confident written and spoken German and English
  • Enjoyment of systematic and independent work within an interdisciplinary team
  • Experience leading teams is an advantage
